2ND INSTANT GAME OFFERING CHANCE TO APPEAR ON TV GAME SHOW DEBUTS

DOVER, DE -- TICKET TO VEGAS, the newest $3 Instant Game from the Delaware Lottery, offers players a chance to go to Las Vegas and appear on the POWERBALL® Instant Millionaire TV Game Show.

On-air contestants compete for prizes ranging from $1,000 to $1 million while selected at-home players win at least $100 and could win as much as $10,000 during the show. As of July 5, on-air and at-home Delaware players have won more than $230,000 on the show. Janet Clough of Felton is Delaware's top on-air winner to date, bringing home $129,000 from the October 19, 2002, game show.

This is the second Instant Game from the Delaware Lottery to offer the chance to appear on the show. The first, POWERBALL INSTANT MILLIONAIRE, closes August 1, but non-winning tickets from that game are eligible for drawings until August 1, 2004. The Lottery plans to introduce a new Instant Game tied into the game show every six months.

Players selected to appear on the POWERBALL Instant Millionaire TV Game Show receive an all-expense-paid trip for two to Las Vegas, including a four-day, three-night stay at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino and $750 spending money. During the half-hour show,
contestants representing participating lotteries across the country are randomly selected to play games of chance. The show has an elimination format that results in one finalist getting the chance to win a grand prize of $1 million.

Four drawings and four recording sessions will be held during the upcoming season, which runs from October 2003 to September 2004. The next drawing is scheduled for July 22.
One on-air and at least five at-home contestants represent the Delaware Lottery for each show.
POWERBALL Instant Millionaire currently airs on WBOC-TV at noon and on WPVI-TV at 11:30 PM on Saturdays.

For a chance to be selected as either an on-air or at-home contestant on the weekly televised game show, players must fill out the back of a non-winning TICKET TO VEGAS or POWERBALL INSTANT MILLIONAIRE TV GAME SHOW (through August 1, 2004) Instant Game ticket and it mail to: Delaware State Lottery, PB Instant Millionaire TV Game Show, P.O. The Instant Game offers 63,858 cash prizes with a value of $416,880. Average odds of winning a cash prize are 1 in 3.76, based on the sale of all 240,000 game tickets printed.
