PACK YOUR BAGS, THE DELAWARE LOTTERY IS SENDING
WINNERS TO VEGAS!

Dover, DE -- Ronald McCaul of Collingdale, Pa, Ruth Ann Perkins of Elkton, Md. and Breezy Brown of Dover, Del. were three winners who each won a trip to Las Vegas as a part of the VEGAS CASH Instant Game second-chance drawing. Players entered their non-winning lottery tickets into a drawing for a Las Vegas vacation for two. The first of three drawings was held on Friday.
December 6, 2005. The prize includes a four day, three night stay at one of three resort and casino properties in Las Vegas. Winners may select from Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Luxor Resort and Casino and Excalibur Resort and Casino. Licensing rights have been obtained for these properties by MDI Entertainment, LLC. In addition to accommodations, the prize consists of round-trip coach airfare for two, ground transfer to and from the Las Vegas airport, show tickets for two at the chosen property resort, $500 spending money and a nylon roller travel bag.

McCaul, who claimed his prize on his 54th birthday, is a self-employed auto mechanic who is married with children. He is a regular Lottery player who, before winning the trip to Las Vegas, had never won a Lottery prize. He purchased most of the VEGAS CASH tickets he sent in for the drawing at his usual Lottery Retailer, Naaman's Beverage Mart, Inc. in Claymont. He received a message to call the Delaware Lottery Office and upon returning the call he learned he had won a trip to Las Vegas. He immediately told his friends at the auto shop because he was very excited to learn of his win. This will be McCaul's first trip to Las Vegas, on which he plans to bring his wife.

Perkins, a 56-year old employee of ShopRite, is also married with a family. She and her husband are regular Lottery players and purchased the tickets they sent into the drawing from ShopRite and Suburban Tobacco, both located in Newark. After receiving a phone call from the Delaware Lottery Office to inform her of her win, Perkins told her husband who plans to accompany her on the trip. Though she had visited Las Vegas once in 2001, she is very excited and looking forward to this trip.

The third winner, Breezy Brown, purchased his VEGAS CASH ticket at Brownie's Package Store in Delmar. As a regular Lottery player, Brown especially enjoys the Lottery's second-chance drawings. On the same day, after learning of his win, Brown drove directly to the Lottery Office to claim his prize.

The Delaware Lottery will conduct two more VEGAS CASH second-chance drawings, which close for entry March 3, 2006 and June 2, 2006, during which three winning names will be selected per drawing. Additional information about the VEGAS CASH Instant Game and other various Lottery games and promotions is available on the Delaware Lottery website, www.delottery.com.
