MEGA MILLIONS® Jackpot Grows to a World Record $500 Million;
The Delaware Lottery Recommends Responsible Play

Dover, DE -- The growing MEGA MILLIONS® jackpot has reached a “Mega” $500 million, making it not only the largest jackpot in the game’s history, but the top lottery jackpot in the world.  Should a lucky winner be named in the drawing on Friday, March 30, an estimated cash option of $359.4 million could be awarded.  With such a large jackpot ready to be won, the Delaware Lottery is recommending that MEGA MILLIONS® players enjoy lottery games responsibly and within their means.

The current jackpot run began January 27, 2012, and Tuesday’s, March 27, drawing marked the 18th draw without a jackpot-winning ticket.  The Delaware Lottery joins other lotteries across the country in support of responsible play by emphasizing that the odds of winning a jackpot prize are 1-in-175 million and that players should keep personal affordability in mind when playing.
