Delaware Sports Lottery to Begin Preseason Wagering August 12

(Dover, DE)— Are you ready for some football? The Delaware Sports Lottery will start its football preseason wagering on Wednesday, August 12, for adults 21 and older. Regular Season Pro Football wagering will begin on Wednesday, September 9.

Pro Football wagering is available at Delaware Sports Lottery retailers throughout the state and at three Sportsbooks locations: Delaware Park, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, and Harrington Raceway & Casino.

Players who don’t know what teams to pick can ask their retailers for a partial or full Quick Pick. With a Quick Pick, the Lottery will generate a ticket with teams selected at random.
 
“We introduced the Quick Pick in 2014, and it’s been very successful in helping people who are interested in playing but don’t know what teams to pick,” explains Delaware Lottery Director Vernon Kirk.  

Preseason offerings include the Early Bird Card, Regular Season Week 1 and Pro Football Championship Futures.

Early Bird Card
Players may play Early Bird Parlay Cards daily throughout the preseason and on Mondays and Tuesdays during the regular season. For official rules, visit delottery.com/games/sports.

Pro Football Championship Futures
No card is required. Players may wager on any or all of the 32 Pro Football teams to win the Championship Game. The Delaware Lottery offers these wagers for the entire current season. For more information on how to place Pro Football Championship Futures wagers, visit delottery.com/games/sports.
