Saturday, August 17 - We are pleased to add the Middletown Peach Festival this year to our sponsored summer events in 2013! The event kicks off with its annual parade on Broad Street. - UD Men’s Basketball Game in Newark
Tuesday, February 11 - The Delaware Lottery was the presenting sponsor of the University of Delaware men’s basketball game on Monday, February 11, and gave one lucky fan a chance to win some cash in the Lottery Money Machine at halftime!
Andrew Bacon, a 33-year-old from Middletown, DE, had the lucky season ticket for seat 6, section 17, and row D, to win entry at halftime into the Delaware Lottery’s Money Machine.
Given just 30 seconds, Andrew was able to grab $87 cash from the Lottery Money Machine. Check out photos of Andrew below!
- Spark 9 Anniversary Party
The Delaware Lottery helped Spark Weekly Magazine celebrate the 9th anniversary of its publication on Friday, January 25, 2013. As a long-time partner and supporter of Spark, the Lottery co-sponsored a VIP Makeover, where one lucky person and their guest received a makeover treatment from a local salon and $200 worth of Instant Game tickets from the Delaware Lottery! Partygoers also showed off their “Dressed to the 9’s” party-theme attire at the Lottery and Spark’s photo backdrop. On the scene photos below!

2012 Events
- The Delaware Lottery is a proud sponsor of the University of Delaware and Delaware State University Athletic programs. Beginning November and continuing through March, the Lottery will be present at all University of Delaware and Delaware State University basketball home games. Come join in the fun and be sure to check out our on-court promotions and many prize giveaways this season!
The Delaware Lottery has been a major sponsor of the World Championship Punkin’ Chunkin’ held in Bridgeville for several years. The cold temperatures didn’t detract tens of thousands of visitors to southern Delaware for this year’s event, held November 3rd and 4th, making Punkin’ Chunkin’ the largest gathering south of the State Fair. The Lottery staff was out in full-force throughout the weekend selling your favorite Lottery games, and our Street Team was out and about distributing Lottery t-shirts and other fun prizes. Check out photos from our one-of-a-kind Woo-Hoo! contest, which awarded instant tickets and a prize pack to contestants who gave their best and loudest Woo-Hoo!—all courtesy of the Delaware Lottery!

- The Delaware Lottery is a proud supporter of the University of Delaware Athletics and its women's basketball team. As part of the University of Delaware's "Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night" held on Feb. 23, the Delaware Lottery randomly selected lucky season ticket holder, Adrienne Bane from Wilmington, to grab-for-cash in the Delaware Lottery's Money Machine. With just minutes left in the first half, Blue Hen fans cheered on Adrienne, who had 30 seconds during a game time-out to grab as much cash as possible. Congrats to Adrienne who was able to grab and walk away with $58, courtesy of the Delaware Lottery.

- 2010 World Championship Punkin Chunkin
The Delaware Lottery was happy to be part of the festivities for Punkin Chunkin’s 25th year of launching pumpkins and having a good time. Hundreds of lucky attendees received official Delaware Lottery Punkin Chunkin t-shirts and premium items. Ten lucky contestants competed in a “Woo-Hoo” event on the main stage Saturday afternoon, with the winners splitting $100 worth of Instant Tickets for belting out their best “Woo-Hoo!”
